The Kids Corner will offer fun activities and information for families during the Zionsville Fall Festival. Vendors will  showcase their services to families while also providing activities for children.

“We have about 10 vendors who add value to the community. They’re handpicked,” Kids Corner chair Leeann Balta said. “While the vendors are sharing information with the families, they will offer hands-on activities for kids.”

Make a Joyful Noise will educate families about music education services and private lessons. Usborne Books and More will offer engaging selections for children of all ages.

“It’s really important to me to be able to offer these services that families may not otherwise know about it, or their lives are so busy they have trouble sifting through information,” Balta said.

Celebration Station, an area of bounce houses and other activities, will provide areas for kids to play. Tickets are required. It’s as much of a way to entertain kids as it is for friends to spend time together.

“Families can talk while their kids enjoy the fun activities,” Balta said. “Of course, the whole festival is to raise money for Lions Park. To me, it represents a piece of Americana. It’s rich with volunteerism, pride and collaboration. And giving back to the community, it’s a fundraiser so the rest of the year they can do things families can enjoy in the park.”

Kids Corner will be in the southwest end of the park.
