On June 21, safety personnel announced the identification of the woman who died June 20 in a Zionsville house fire at 710 N. US 421.
She has been identified as 67-year-old Susan E. Cutright.
According to local authorities, the cause of the fire has been determined to be accidental in nature, and, according to a police report “ associated with careless smoking around in home medical oxygen.” The origin where the fire started has been identified as the center bedroom in the home.
The victim’s family has been notified and a memorial fund has been established at Old National Bank to help her family pay for the expenses associated with the fire. Community members wishing to help can visit any Old National Bank branch and make a deposit to Susan Cutright Benefit Account.
