Westfield-based Hittle Landscaping awarded IKEA landscape contract

Westfield-based Hittle Landscaping was recently awarded a contract from Pepper Construction to landscape the IKEA currently under construction in Fishers.

“Building on the legacy of the Hittle family and 44 years of unique landscaping excellence, has enabled us to showcase our abilities in this commercial space.” Hittle Landscape President John Thibault stated in a press release sent to Current.

Thibault also is a retired senior officer of the United States Marine Corps.
This year, Hittle hired six new crews equaling 30 employees. Other projects Hittle Landscape has completed include work for the City of Carmel, Shiel Sexton, Turner Construction Company, St. Vincent Hospitals and Pulte Homes.

“We are honored to have been selected for the IKEA project,” stated Scott Heinemeyer,
director of business development for Hittle, Indianapolis’ largest family owned landscaping company. “We have had the opportunity to work with Pepper Construction on other large commercial projects and we appreciate Pepper’s intentional process in selecting us as the right company for the job.”

According to the press release, the Hittle Landscaping team plans to create a well-planned design and layout for IKEA’s curb appeal.
