St.Vincent Health is inviting the community to tour the St.Vincent House from 4 to 7 p.m. April 19
The new facility is on the campus of St.Vincent Indianapolis at 2031 Dugan Dr.
St.Vincent House provides private accommodations for up to 20 extended-stay patients’ families and benefit patient families who live more than 25 miles from the hospital or those who have a loved one who is receiving long-term care at one of St.Vincent’s hospitals. Amenities include laundry facilities, kitchens, a playground, chapel and gathering spaces.
St.Vincent said will officially begin hosting families on April 20 and that volunteers are needed to help support families who are staying at the house, along with nonperishable snacks to stock the pantry. Pantry donations also can dropped off during the open house, where people can also learn more about volunteer opportunities.
