On March 1, Where’s Amy attended the 2017 BLUE Breakfast for Coburn Place. The Coburn Place’s mission helps empower victims of intimate partner violence to live as survivors. The annual breakfast was held at the Colts Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center and was emceed by RTV6’s Rafael Sanchez. Carmel’s own Marlin Jackson, former Colts defensive back, member of the Super Bowl XLI Championship team and founder of Fight For Life Foundation was the guest speaker. The event also included inspiring stories from the staff and a special Coburn Place graduate told her compelling story of her survival and how the organization helped her. It was an exciting day with a raffle and great prizes for guests to win, but most importantly, it was a big win for Coburn Place. If you missed the BLUE Breakfast, be sure to attend CoburnFest on Oct. 20 at the Bitwell in downtown Indianapolis. Where’s Amy can’t wait to see you there. For more, visit coburnplace.org.
