Obituary: Mary Alice Knapp


Mary Alice Knapp, 75, Noblesville, died Feb. 2 at home. She was born April 30, 1941, to Albert and Lola (Stern) Webb in Anderson.

Mary Alice graduated from Walnut Grove High School in 1959 and was a devoted wife and mother. After her children were grown, she started a home-based childcare business, which lasted for 15 years. Mary Alice was a life-long resident of Hamilton County and a member of White River Christian Church in Noblesville. She enjoyed sewing, reading, word puzzles and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Keith Knapp, daughter Mary Beth (Doug) Morrison, son Jeffrey (Cindy) Knapp, granddaughters Lydia and Anna Morrison and Andrea Knapp, special friend Michele Gohr and brothers Dick (Jeannie) Webb and Don (Nancy) Webb.
