Northeast Carmel neighborhood meeting planned for Feb.23 


Sue Finkam, Carmel City Councilor for the northeast district, will host a northeast Carmel neighborhood meeting at 6 p.m., Feb. 23 at Clay Middle School auditorium.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss 2017 road construction affecting northeast residents, such as Gray Road roundabouts and River Road reconstruction. Additional topics such as the east side roundabout landscaping, the ramp from 146th to Keystone via Lowe’s Way and the status of the statewide road funding proposals will also be discussed.

Speakers will include City of Carmel mayor Jim Brainard, City of Carmel engineer Jeremy Kashman, County Commissioners Mark Heirbrandt and Christine Altman, state representative Jerry Torr and state senator Luke Kenley.
