Charles “Ron” Vanover, 72, Noblesville, died Dec. 31 at his daughter’s home. He was born July 12, 1944 to the late Charles and Lillian (Copley) Vanover in Louisa, Ky.

For more than 40 years, Ron was a part of the McDonald’s family. He worked in the corporation for 20 years, then found his true passion and became an owner/operator. Ron was a true people person and became a loved part of the community. In his spare time, he enjoyed being outside walking, biking, exercising and playing golf.

Ron is survived by his wife of 52 years, Kathy (Meyer) Vanover, daughters Alicia (Mike) Broady and Angie (Jerry) Anglin, grandchildren Ashley (Christopher) Cronin Warren, Hannah Broady, Matthew See, Evan See, Alex Anglin and Stacy Bratcher, great-grandchildren Bryson Cronin Warren, Ellie Cronin Warren and Sophia Lamb and sisters Gail (Pete) Stewart and Ruth (Doug) Meyer.
