Don ‘DJ’ Roberts, 84, Noblesville, died Dec. 9. He was born Feb. 24, 1932 to Arthur R. and Mary Elizabeth (Brown) Roberts in Noblesville.
DJ retired from Irving Materials in 1995 after having been with the company for 40 years. He enjoyed gardening, bowling and golf.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara L. (Hartley) Roberts, son Brian (Patricia) Roberts, daughter Cheryl (Glenn) Birge, grandchildren Tonya Smith and Zachery Birge, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sisters, Alice Tomaino and Ruth Laughlin, and three brothers, Richard, Max and Charles Roberts.
