Noblesville Tot Tunes — Kids love to start the day off with music and movement! Toddlers/preschoolers and their caregivers will get their morning groove on with songs, rhymes and dance. These activities encourage the development of gross motor skills and language skills. Rhythm instruments for 25 children will be available, but the program may be enjoyed without instruments. A Year of Hoosier Plays and Playwrights: “A Christmas Story” — In celebration of Indiana’s bicentennial, Main Street Productions/Westfield Playhouse presents “A Christmas Story,” a perennial holiday family favorite based on the play by Jean Shepherd. Taking place in a small Indiana town set in 1940, Ralphie is on a quest for a Red Ryder BB gun for Christmas. Watch the colorful, eccentric guests as they arrive at the Snowflake Inn and deck the halls with holiday hilarity, including an ill-advised romantic rendezvous, a demanding guest who refuses to leave, a tipsy housekeeper and even a spur-of-the-moment wedding. Noblesville Christmas Parade — Come and enjoy the annual Noblesville Christmas Parade. It will begin in the early afternoon at the corner of 16th and Harrison before making its tour of a portion of the City of Noblesville. The last entry in the parade will be Santa Claus himself, making his debut for the season. Boys and girls are invited to stop by his house on the courthouse square after the parade and tell him what they’d like for Christmas. Drawing Class — Improve your artistic skills in this art class for all skill levels. Nickel Plate Studio Artists Bruce Neckar and John Reynolds will provide subject matter and provide tips.
