Color Yourself Calm, a grown-up coloring class — November is a season of festivity, thanksgiving and sometime stress. Ease into the holidays by coloring yourself calm. All materials are provided so you can enjoy an evening of free, relaxing coloring. Feel free to bring a friend and allow your creativity to blossom as your page fills with color. Photo coaster making — Turn four photos into beautiful gifts for the holidays or decorative keepsakes for years to come during this fun class. Any four photos of your choice may be used to make drink coasters. Each photo should be 3.5 by 3.5  for best results. All other supplies will be provided. For ages 13 and older. Teen DIY temporary tattoos — Draw it, print it, ink it. The Fishers Teen Zone will be transformed into a temporary tattoo parlor as participants express themselves through creating their own body art. Unleash your artistic talents and experiment with a range of designs, from vintage to abstract. Templates will be provided, or you can create your own design (inappropriate language or images will not be tolerated). Open to ages 13 and up. Beginning knitting — Beginning this Friday and recurring monthly, you can learn basic knitting techniques from an experienced teacher in a small class that allows for as much one-on-one attention as you need. Start making a scarf and finish it at home. With the basics, you’ll be able to conquer great things in the knitting world. Hogwarts High Tea in the (really) Dark — Did you miss October’s Hogwarts event? Did it sell out before you could claim a spot? Well, you have a second chance. Murder Mystery Dinner — Come, if you dare! Enjoy a four-course dinner while your table works to solve a mystery. Each member of the table will be given a character identity with a short script. Between each meal course, a new act will begin and your table will work together to figure out “whodunit.” This interactive and fun mystery is not easy to solve, so bring your thinking cap as well as your appetite for a wonderfully cryptic evening with friends and family. Attendees must be 21 or older and bring ID. One drink ticket will be included with registration; additional alcohol will be available for purchase. Annual Holiday Festival — It’s a holiday celebration! Holiday on the Square — Co-sponsored by the City of Carmel and the Carmel Arts Council, this event kicks off the holiday season in Carmel. Enjoy Christmas-themed entertainment, a holiday farmers market, Santa, his elves and live reindeer in a welcome festive atmosphere for the city’s holiday lighting ceremony on Civic Square. Drawing class — Learn to improve your artistic skills in this art class for all skill levels. Nickel Plate Studio Artists Bruce Neckar and John Reynolds will provide subject matter and provide tips.
