Obituary: Furman William Burnell



Furman William Burnell, 78, Noblesville, died Oct. 4 at his home. He was born Feb. 21, 1938 to Earnest and Fairy (Bundrum) Burnell in Jackson County.

Furman proudly served his country in the United States Army and worked for 36 years as a crane signalman for General Motors. He enjoyed golfing and was a fan of IU, the Pacers and the Colts.

Furman is survived by his wife, Shirley Burnell, son Bill (Marcus) Burnell-Wildridge and his dogs, Evan, Makayla and Rylee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters and many beloved pets.
