Kevin Michael Trager died Aug. 18 at his home in Westfield. He was born Sept. 26, 1964, to Earl and Dorothy (McCart) Trager in Ceres, Calif. His parents preceded him in death.
Kevin was a musician. He began his career as an artist in residence at Opera San Jose and later completed his master’s degree at Indiana University in Bloomington. Locally, he was active in church music, recording work and as a teacher in the fine arts magnet at Broad Ripple High School. Kevin was a member of Second Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis. He was an avid fly fisherman and Mr. Mom to his beloved girls.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Renata Trager; two daughters, Elena and Lydia Trager; brother Lyle Trager; and three sisters, Cindy Greenbank, Sherri Coey and Lori Ward.
