Carol G. Smith, 70, Noblesville, died Aug. 10 at St.Vincent Hospital in Fishers. She was born Aug. 10, 1946 to Carl and Faye (Sutton) Schwenzer in Indianapolis.

Carol was a graduate of Lawrence Central High School. An animal lover, she and her daughter, Linda, groomed pets for 29 years at Animal Arts Pet Grooming in Noblesville. Carol was an avid bowler and enjoyed going to concerts and traveling, especially to Arizona and Nevada. She was very thoughtful and always brought back gifts from her travels for family and friends. A very loving and giving person to those in need, Carol lived for her family and friends. She especially enjoyed going to see movies with her grandson, Noah.

Carol is survived by her husband, Glen Smith; daughter Linda (Mark) Merideth; grandson Noah Merideth; siblings Al Schwenzer, Tom Schwenzer, Bill Schwenzer, Lisa Thomas and Phoebe Schwenzer; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Glen Eugene Smith.
