BlueSky Technology Partners has broken ground on its new, international headquarters in downtown Noblesville.

BlueSky employees and city officials, including Noblesville Mayor John Ditslear dug in their shovels June 29 to celebrate the start of development on the 42,000-square-foot facility that is the second major development, with Federal Hill Commons, to give momentum to the city’s west side gateway development efforts.

The four-story building at Westfield Road and John Street will house a restaurant and outdoor dining space on its main level, towered by three levels of collaborative office use, where the fourth floor will feature an outdoor terrace, overlooking downtown Noblesville and Federal Hill Commons. Architectural firm American Structurepoint, Inc. and contracting firm Meyer Najem Construction will help bring the vision to fruition.

Approximately 10 years ago, BlueSky moved to 15570 Stony Creek Way in Noblesville, but in that time, the e-commerce consulting firm outgrew its facility, which lead to this development.

“Staying local and supporting local businesses played a key role in our decision to stay in Noblesville,” BlueSky President and COO Eric Warne stated. “The city has been good to us and for us, and we look forward to playing a part in propelling the city’s growth and opportunities.”

The project is expected to be completed by the summer of 2017.
