Marie Josephine Collins, 92, Noblesville, died June 7 at Riverwalk Village. She was born on March 5, 1924 to Phillip and Josephine (Gatto) Jardina in Indianapolis.
Marie attended St. Agnes Academy in Indianapolis, was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, and enjoyed antiques and crocheting. She never met a stranger and always put others’ needs above her own. Most of all, Marie loved the time she spent with her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol J. Foster, brother Phillip (Nancy) Jardina, grandchildren Brad Messer, Sophia Foster, Carrie Dolan and Ashley Bligan, and great-grandchildren Gina Mills, Ayden Dolan and Adrianna Messer.
In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Norman E. Collins, in 2006; and her daughter, Gina Bligan.
