St. Michael’s Strawberry Festival: St. Michael’s Episcopal Church will host its 39th annual Strawberry Festival from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the downtown Noblesville square. Tickets for the dessert, which includes shortcake, strawberries, ice cream and whipped topping, will be sold for $7 at the festival and presold for $5 at the church, 444 S. Harbour Dr., Noblesville. The Strawberry Festival is the primary outreach fundraiser for the church. Funds in the past have gone towards building a well in Haiti, providing food for the White River Christian Church Food Pantry and a back-to-school backpack program. Other features of the festival include the Noblesville Fire Dept. bringing a truck at 11:30 a.m., a visit from Noblesville Mayor John Ditslear, live music by Anderson and Beck from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and historical interpreters from Connor Prairie. Nature Play Day: Hamilton County Parks and Recreation will host a nature play day at Potter’s Bridge Park, 19401 Allisonville Rd., Noblesville, from 10 a.m. to noon. Artist reception – Lesley Ackman: Come and meet photographer and artist Lesley Ackman during her evening reception from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Nickel Plate Arts Campus, 106 S. Eighth St., Noblesville, and enjoy this exhibit, which includes some of her favorite photographs. This is a free event.

Music and All That Jazz: The David Hartman Band will perform on the downtown Noblesville Square from 7 to 9 p.m. The band consists of Jason Jasper (sax/EWI/vocals), Don Smith (trumpet/vocals), Tom Fowler (guitar), Greg Gegogeine (bass), David Hampton (drums) and David Hartman (guitar). If you like an eclectic mix of music (Allman Brothers, Wes Montgomery, The Beatles, AC/DC, Monk, Duke Ellington, Latin, swing, blues etc.), you will enjoy listening to this band’s originals and arrangements. Prayer vigil for Orlando shooting victims: Roots of Life Community Church Pastor Teri Ditslear has organized a prayer vigil in response to the events in Orlando where 49 were killed June 12 at a nightclub. Chalk Art Festival: Hamilton Town Center will once again host its Chalk Art Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This event is free for spectators. Guests will be able to enjoy free kids activities including bounce houses, face painting and balloon artists. While admiring the numerous chalk drawings, families will be able to visit with local businesses and players from the Indiana Pacers. Adults will also have the opportunity enjoy a pint of beer or glass of wine. Event attendees will have the option to vote for their favorite works of art. Kids Day at the Noblesville Farmers Market: From 8 a.m. to noon at the Riverview Health hospital overflow lot at the Ind. 38/32/19 intersection, enjoy kids day. The weekly farmers market will turn into a carnival-like event. Riverview Health will feature an inflatable, games of skill and more. Parents may also participate in health screenings and visit with Riverview Health staff as they watch the kids exercise. Kid Zone Party Rentals and the Cicero Fun Factory are providing equipment for the event in addition to all the locally made, grown and raised products available for sale at the market. This is a free event.

Fathers Day Car Show: Central Indiana Vintage Vehicles, Inc.’s 26th annual Father’s Day Car Show will return to Forest Park from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The show will host approximately 300 classic and vintage cars.
