Obituary: LeRoy F. “Lee” Lampert

LeRoy F. “Lee” Lampert, 98, Noblesville, died May 27 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. He was born April 4, 1918 to William and Anna (Tribout) Lampert in Saint Louis, Mo.

Lee proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WWII. He was an electronics technician for RCA for 27 years and was an avid tennis player up into his 90s.

Lee is survived by daughters Sandy (John) Ameis and Cindy Johnson, grandchildren Angie (Jeff) Curtis, Michael (Marie) Ameis, Nancy (Charley) Skinner, Stacie (Mike) Neathery and Carrie Johnson, 12 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and nephews Louis (Gaye) Appel and Gary Appel.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice “Marge” Lampert, and son-in-law Scott Johnson.
