Police looking for two suspects after May 9 AutoZone robbery

Noblesville police are looking for two men after an evening robbery at AutoZone at 14515 Mundy Dr. in Noblesville on May 9.

Police said at approximately 9:56 p.m. that evening, the Noblesville Police Dept. responded to a report of a robbery at the auto parts store.

Information from the caller alleged two men came into the store and immediately confronted two store employees. Police said the caller stated both suspects were armed with handguns and were demanding money from the store’s cash registers and safe. As a result, employees provided the suspects with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects then reportedly fled the store, running northwest.

Police said they established a perimeter in the area and utilized a K-9 unit during the search, efforts that were lifted at approximately 10:23 p.m. after they were unable to locate the suspects.

The first suspect has been described by police as a dark-skinned, black male with black hair, approximately 18 to 25 years old, 5-foot 6-inches tall with a very thin build, approximately 130 pounds. He was also described as having light stubble above his upper lip, wearing all black, including a black, hooded sweatshirt or zip-up sweatshirt and carrying a silver, revolver handgun.

The second suspect has been described by police as a Hispanic male with black hair, approximately 16 to 18 years old with a short, thin build. He was also described as wearing a sweatshirt that was grey on the body with red or orange outer parts with a zip-up front, possibly wearing a red or orange scarf over his mouth. This suspect was also believed to have been carrying a small, black handgun.
