Noblesville police are searching for a suspect in a shooting earlier today, May 8.
At approximately 1:29 p.m., officers from the Noblesville Police Dept. responded to a report of a gunshot victim at 12271 Lindley Drive, Noblesville.
Upon arrival to the residence, police entered and located the victim, later determined to also be the complainant.
Police said the victim, identified as Diana R. Neville, 36, Noblesville, said she had been shot in the leg by an unknown intruder.
Neville was given immediate care by officers on the scene and was later transported to IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Her injuries have since been deemed non-life threatening.
Police said Neville was unable to provide police with any description of the suspect.
Investigators petitioned for and were subsequently granted a search warrant for the address of 12271 Lindley Drive in order to investigate the scene.
