Art in the Afternoon ● Spend an exciting, art-filled afternoon in Carmel! This event features artists’ booths, live music, the opportunity to win fabulous door prizes and much more! Attendees are welcome to walk through as long as the doors are open. Proceeds will support various community outreach programs, teacher grants, and scholarships. Drawing Class (Session 2) ● Learn to improve your artistic skills in this art class for all skill levels. Nickel Plate Studio Artists Bruce Neckar and John Reynolds will provide subject matter and provide tips. Nickel Plate Arts will be responsible for providing graphite sticks, newsprint, and drawing boards, although participants may bring their own materials. Must be 15 or older. Noblesville City Hall Art Exhibit ● Weekdays in May are made special by the Hamilton Co. Artists’ Association as they showcase the artistic work of new Juried Members at Noblesville City Hall. Artist Showcase: Shawn Deitch ● Deitch is a local artist whose oil paintings will be showcased this May in the Nickel Plate Arts’ Stephenson House. Her works are often inspired by nature, especially Indiana wetlands and lakes, as well as seasonal landscapes and scenes from the city.
