Cecil Glen Barrett, 60, Noblesville, died April 18 at Riverview Health. He was born Nov. 13, 1955 to Roy and Juanita (DeVol) Barrett in Noblesville.
Cecil was a 1974 graduate of Hamilton Heights High School and attended Ivy Tech Community College. He proudly served his country in the United States Army as a radio dispatcher for the Medevac Unit, serving one year in Korea. For 26 years, Cecil worked as a Data Technician for AT&T. He was life member of VFW Cicero Post 8756, a member of the Noblesville Eagles and Telephone Pioneers of America and a proud member of Harley Owners Group (HOG). Cecil loved riding his Harley, and his biggest joys were cars, reminiscing and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 40 years, Nancy (Johnsonbaugh) Barrett; son Jason (Ashley) Barrett; grandchildren, Brayden, Aidan and Ryleigh; brother Roy D. (Marcia) Barrett; father-in-law Jack Johnsonbaugh; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Cecil was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Donna Johnsonbaugh; and sister-in-law Dawn Sowers.
