The Actors Theatre of Indiana presents: Unnecessary Farce ● In this comedic play, two cops attempt a stakeout in order to videotape a meeting between an embezzling mayor and his female accountant in the next-door motel room. However, soon total chaos breaks lose as confusion about who’s who ensues. Arbor Day at Conner Prairie ● Spring is in the air! Join Conner Prairie for a “treerific” time as you investigate all different kinds of trees. Chat with foresters and explore the trees native to Indiana during an informative Nature Walk. You will also learn how certain trees are used and get to witness a professional climb up a tree. Visit the 1836 Prairietown carpentry shop and see how wood was treated in the past. Art in the Afternoon ● Spend an exciting, art-filled afternoon in Carmel! This event features artists’ booths, live music, the opportunity to win fabulous door prizes and much more! Drawing Class (Session 2) ● Learn to improve your artistic skills in this art class for all skill levels. Nickel Plate Studio Artists Bruce Neckar and John Reynolds will provide subject matter and provide tips. Nickel Plate Arts will be responsible for providing graphite sticks, newsprint, and drawing boards, although participants may bring their own materials. Must be 15 or older.
