Concert season is returning to Fishers’ Nickel Plate District as the city has announced its lineup of summer shows. Tuesday and Friday night concerts will begin in June, plus a new series of Wednesday afternoon shows will kick off in May.
The City of Fishers’ Tuesday night concert series is presented by IU Health Saxony, with shows running from 7 to 9 p.m.
This season’s slate of Tuesday night performances includes:
- June 7: My Yellow Rickshaw with sponsor Cathedral
- June 14: The Innocent Band with sponsor Primrose of West Fishers
- June 21: The Bishops with sponsor Citizens State Bank
- June 28: Dude with sponsor Boomerang Development
- July 5: Endless Summer Band with sponsor Kona Ice
- July 12: Parrots of the Caribbean with sponsor Bose McKinnney Law Offices
- July 19: Dave and Rae with sponsor The Goddard School
The Friday night Amphitheater After Dark shows run from 9 to 11 p.m. The series of concerts includes:
- June 3: Woomblies Rock Orchestra
- June 10: Bad Brad and Slipsey Slims
- June 17: Sounds of Summer: A Beach Boys Tribute
- June 24: Jambox
- July 8: Souled Out
- July 15: Jennie DeVoe
- July 22: Dogs of Society: A Musical Tribute to Elton John
- July 29: Rodney Step
- Aug. 5: Torn
- Aug. 12: The Reno Connection
- Aug. 19: Carrie Newcomer
- Aug. 26: John Banard
New this year, the city is offering nearby professionals a chance at an unique lunch break with its Concerts on the Central Green series of shows that will run from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesdays.
