Canature WaterGroup™, a Canadian-based manufacturer and distributor of water treatment products, has chosen Carmel as its U.S. headquarters as it expands its presence across North America. The company will celebrate its grand opening this week at its new manufacturing and distribution facility at 9760 Mayflower Park Drive.

The company, based in Regina, Saskatchewan, will operate two business channels out of Carmel – its Novo Product Line in the Plumbing Wholesale and the Hydrotech Product Line in the Independent Water Dealer Channel. The Carmel location will be the U.S. headquarters for Canature and one of three U.S. locations, to go along with three Canadian locations.

“We analyzed the market and our customer base to determine the best single location in North America and we chose Carmel and central Indiana as the optimum location. Carmel had the right building options to fit into our future plans of adding water softener tank and brine tank manufacturing,” said Toby Hughes, chief operating officer.

“We are pleased that Canature WaterGroup has chosen Carmel for its U.S. headquarters,” said Mayor Jim Brainard. “Central Indiana, especially Hamilton County, continues to grow rapidly and we look forward to watching them grow in the future.”

The Grand Opening will take place Tuesday, April 26 for the Plumbing Wholesale Channel and Thursday April 28 from Noon to 4 p.m. for the Independent Water Dealer Channel and is open to the public.
