Welcome to Fairyville ● The fourth annual Welcome to Fairyville event hosted by the Nickel Plate Arts campus is celebrating another year of fairy magic. Most events are free, and attendees will have the opportunity to explore a wide variety of whimsical activities and Downtown Noblesville locations. Enjoy the Fairy Home Show, Fairyville Trail, Fancy Fairy Crafts, Fairy Tea Parties and storytelling on either a Winged Wednesday, Fairy Friday or Sprite Saturday. ● April 20-23. The Carmel Community Players present: The Odd Couple ● Enjoy a new performance from CCP entitled “The Odd Couple”, by Neil Simon and directed by Cheryl Fesmire. This is a classic comedy about the neat-freak, Type A, Felix Unger as he tries to handle living with his divorced best friend and the ultimate slob, Oscar Madison. Bicentennial Tree of Hope Ceremonies ● Beginning on this date, 10 trees located in various parks throughout Hamilton Co. will be dedicated in commemoration of Indiana’s Bicentennial. Trees serve as a living commitment to the environment of the future as well as a tribute to the past. Dedication ceremonies are free and open to the public. The five trees commemorated on this date are located in the cities of Noblesville, Arcadia, Westfield, Sheridan and Fishers. ● Apr. 23. Times vary for each park. Z’GreenFest ● Join the Zion Nature Center and Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Library for a special Earth Day and Arbor Day celebration. The Belfry Theatre Presents “Cheaper by the Dozen” ● For many laughs as well as a few touching moments, Cheaper by the Dozen is a classic well worth watching. Enjoy a live performance about an ultra-efficient father with crazy yet effective ideas, and his large family trying to cope with the chaos. Drawing Class (Session 2) ● Learn to improve your artistic skills in this art class for all skill levels. Nickel Plate Studio Artists Bruce Neckar and John Reynolds will provide subject matter and tips. Nickel Plate Arts will be responsible for providing graphite sticks, newsprint and drawing boards, although participants may bring their own materials. Must be 15 or older. Winter Kids Koncerts ● Special winter concerts for kids have been going on all season long, but spring’s approach is imminent!
