Donald Davidson, historian of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, can recount facts and stats of every Indy 500 race – all 99. The race is celebrating its 100th running this year, and to honor that, he is traveling all over the state to talk about the history, stopping in Noblesville Feb. 24 for the Noblesville Chamber of Commerce’s monthly membership luncheon. Davidson made ties from Indy 500 names to the City of Noblesville, including driver Derek Daly, driver Michael Andretti, TV and radio announcer Bob Jenkins, car owner Russ Pollock, who all have ties to Noblesville and Hamilton Co.
