Hello Terry,
I look forward to your column each week.

I’m a stay-at-home mom of four kids, ranging from ages 6-16. But lately, my husband has been my biggest challenge. I’ve become his advocate, dedicated to helping him through a military medical process (absolute misery). Our struggle with proper care (reached a one-year anniversary) on Feb. 7, just five days after he will finally receive the surgery he needs to get him on the road to recovery. It won’t end there though. He has 6-9 months or rehab and our struggle for past compensation continues.
I just wanted to say that your column always has something timely for me as I try to stand for what’s right and good while maintaining balance in this season of my life. I’ve nervously revived my gift of crafting, looking to sell some things online for a little income to help my family. I’m learning to love it again but I struggle with ‘good enough’ in almost every area and it most often leads to failure before I ever get anything out there – whether it’s a new item online, inviting guests over for a meal, or leading a special interest meeting…Obsession over the perfecting details is my greatest hindrance. Thanks for your thoughtful words and commitment to getting them out there.

It took a few edits for me to get this email ‘good enough’ to send you, but if you’re reading this, well then…I’m making progress already!
You’re doing a great job. Thank you.

Holly
