With gratitude and love for a life well lived, the family of Norman John Kerr, Jr. announces his passing on Dec. 10, 2015. John was born July 31, 1929, in Kokomo, Ind. He graduated from Kokomo High School and Indiana University with a BS and MBA. He served in the United States Air Force in Germany.
John married Virginia Chisholm in 1957. John and Virginia lived in five different states through the years, moving to Carmel in 1969. Union Carbide appreciated John’s many talents for 30 years, and he was also an active community volunteer.
Survivors are his wife, Virginia, and their children Susan, John (Donna) and David (Julie) and grandchildren, Katherine, James, Caroline and Katelyn.
A memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Jan. 3 at First Church of Christ Scientist, 11580 Haverstick Rd., Carmel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either Christian Science Broadcasting, P.O. Box 606, Carmel, IN 46082-0606 or to the church.
