Joe McDaniel, 91, Zionsville, died Dec. 10 at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis.
Joe proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. For 33 years, he was a supervisor at Western Electric Corporation, retiring in 1979. Joe lived to play golf and scored 10 holes-in-one. He was club champion at several local country clubs; his true passion was golf. Joe was a loving and compassionate caregiver for his wife, Laura, especially during the last four years of her life. He loved and adored his grandchildren.
He is survived by his son, Bill (Mary Kay) McDaniel; grandchildren, Molly and Maggy McDaniel; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death in 2008 by his wife and sisters, Charlotte List and Rosemary Tyler.
Services were held Dec. 17 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan St., Noblesville.
