Where’s Amy? At the Assistance League Holiday Luncheon and Style Show

“Where’s Amy?” always loves attending special events by organizations that make a difference in the community. What a treat it was to be invited to the 2015 ‘Wondrous Winter Wishes’ Holiday Luncheon and Style Show hosted by the Indianapolis Assistance League of Indianapolis. The event raised money to help our local communities and people in need. I was touched by learning how the Assistance League of Indianapolis, (nonprofit all volunteer organization) helps children by providing comforting stuffed animal ‘ALI Bears’, ‘Assault Survivor Kits’ including fresh clothing for victims of sexual assault and new clothes and supplies for children through their ‘Operation School Belt’ programs. Co Chairs Jo Craig (Carmel) and Jane Williams (Indianapolis) worked hard all year long with the Assistance League Patron Members to make the day a success. Guests had the opportunity to bid on wonderful silent auction items, raffle prizes and see a hip and fresh fashion style show by The Secret Ingredient.

More than 530 plus guests came to support the mission and help raise funds to serve the community. It’s events like this that open our eyes and remind us to give and love one another not just during the holidays but throughout the entire year. Please consider donating to the Assistance League of Indianapolis who continue to help those in need in our communities. For more , visit: www.alindy.org/school-bell-relocation.html
