Leah Ann McKinney, 89, Noblesville, died Nov. 29, 2015 at Riverview Health in Noblesville.

She was born Sept. 25, 1926 in Sheridan to Otto McKinley and Helen Avon (Stacey) Rawlings. She was a graduate of Noblesville High School with the Class of 1944.

Ann, as she was known, was a farm wife. In addition to assisting her husband on the farm, she also worked at Willits at Noblesville. For years she was the friendly, helpful cashier at Bob’s Market in Arcadia. After a brief retirement, she worked part time at CVS in Cicero.

Ann was a member of Sheridan Christian Church, but attended White River Christian Church in Noblesville where she was active in Sunday School, Bible Study groups and Heaven’s Handiwork. In her spare time she enjoyed reading and being with her family.

She married Gene Rex McKinney Sept. 30, 1944. He preceded her in death Feb. 21, 1985. In addition to her husband and parents, two brothers preceded her in death: Julian and James Rawlings.

Surviving her are two daughters, Myra Lea Dean and Julianne Barbieri, both of Noblesville; sons, Darrell Gene McKinney and Neal Rex McKinney, both of Arcadia, Ralph Allen McKinney of Cicero and Rodger Lynn McKinney of Tipton; a sister, Carolyn Green of Alabama; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
