On Nov. 19, members of AT&T, Launch Fishers and local elected officials gathered at the Launch Fishers current location at Hamilton East Public Library to announce that it’s new building, located at 12175 Visionary Way, will be equipped with Fiber-optic certification. Launch has partnered with AT&T for to be fiber-ready and will be the second site in Indiana to receive this certification.
“AT&T is investing in high-speed Internet in urban and rural areas across Indiana using the latest wired and wireless technologies, and we are proud to highlight the new Launch Fishers facility as one of many places in Indiana where AT&T’s fiber infrastructure is in place and ready to help local businesses grow,” president of AT&T Indiana Bill Soards said.
Fishers Mayor Scott Fadness said that through the use of fiber optic technologies, Launch Fishers will be able to further foster the tech industry within the city.
“Our resources in Fishers, Hamilton Co. are extensive, but if potential investors aren’t aware of the impressive tech infrastructure in place, then we face the potential of missing many opportunities,” Fadness said. “This AT&T Fiber Ready designation helps to eliminate those missed opportunities, and furthers Fishers as an entrepreneurial, innovative city.”
Launch Fishers Founder John Wechsler said that the new facility will attract new companies to Launch.
“The new Launch Fishers will be a dynamic catalyst for growth, and we want to be sure that it’s clear we also have the latest technology,” Wechsler said. “With the designation of being AT&T Fiber Ready, we can more confidently tell our entrepreneurs and high-potential companies that we’re ready to accelerate their growth with the availability of high-speed fiber.”
Launch also shared a rendering of the new building which is expected to start moving in employees and customers by the end of the year.
