Clifford MacCartney, 72, Noblesville, died Oct. 28 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. He was born March 6, 1943 to Kenneth and Ethel (McMannis) MacCartney in East Cleveland, Ohio.
Clifford worked as a mechanic for Jerry Alderman Ford and was also with the Washington Township Fire Dept. in Marion County. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Leslie MacCartney; children, Kenneth (Sheryl) MacCartney, and Holly (Michael) Foreman; grandchildren, Joshua (Janessa) MacCartney, Sarah (Collin) Cerbus, Kristen MacCartney, Jessica MacCartney, Cassandra Foreman, and Autumn Foreman; and great-grandchildren, Loralei MacCartney and Dalton MacCartney.
In addition to his parents, Clifford was preceded in death by his brother, Norman MacCartney; and nephew, Kevin MacCartney.
Services with Air Force Honors were held at 4 p.m. Oct. 31, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Rd., Noblesville, with visitation from 2 p.m. to the time of service. The Rev. Stanley R. Sutton will officiate. Inurnment will be in Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
