According to a press release from the Indiana Dept. of Transportation, the final overhead bridge beams on 106th Street over U.S. 31 will be constructed Oct. 9 with lane restrictions from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
The interchanges at 106th and 116th Streets on U.S. 31 are set to end by the end of this year.
In addition to the Carmel updates, construction on U.S. 31 through Westfield will be finished by the end of October. Work zone speed limits are still posted at 40 MPH, and INDOT is working with law enforcement to determine when to return the speed limit back to 55 MPH.
