Police arrest 2 suspects for Carmel burglaries

Carmel police arrested two Indianapolis men Sept. 25 who allegedly broke into three homes and three vehicles in Carmel.

At 5:25 a.m. Sept. 25, CPD responded to a burglary in progress call in the 3600 block of Abney Point Drive. A victim reported seeing two white males running from his garage and fleeing in a dark colored vehicle.

Police found the vehicle in the parking lot at Community Westview Hospital on Guion Road in Indianapolis with the two suspects inside. They arrested Lynn A. Jackson, 18, and Cullen M. Doyle, 18, who have been charged with burglary, theft and attempted burglary.

The victims reported a number of missing items, including computers, power tools, electronics, laptops, cash and jewelry. Police recovered many of the stolen items.

Jackson and Doyle are being held in the Hamilton County Jail on $100,000 bond each.
