Marthann Alexander, 93, Noblesville, died Sept. 10 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. She was born on April 20, 1922 to Harvey and Iva Mae (Morrow) Johnson in Hamilton County.
Marthann was a homemaker and had a beauty shop for a while. She loved to garden, crochet, sew and quilt.
She is survived by her sons, Richard L. (Susan) Alexander, Stephen R. Alexander and Michael A. (Kim) Alexander; grandchildren, Jenny (Grant) Byers, Duane Alexander, Sherry (Hernando) Sabogal, Shelly McCormick, Matthew (Mindy) Alexander, Kyle (Yvonne) Alexander, Alicia (Scott) Kiovsky, Blake Alexander, Cassandra Alexander, Douglas Alexander, Evan Alexander, Brian (Gina) Alexander and Chris (Daniel) Alexander; 20 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Alexander; son, John J. Alexander; brothers, Cecil Johnson, George Johnson and Russell Johnson; and sister, Helen Herron.
