The newly opened Rustic Spa of Noblesville is bringing locals a fresh and holistic take on wellness. As a Noblesville local herself, owner Gwen Niec has set out to provide spa services that promote a natural lifestyle and focus on a healthy wellbeing.
Graduating from Indiana University in 1999, Niec went further to later receive a certification in massage therapy through the Alexandria School of Scientific Therapeutics. Once finishing her education, she pursued work in the business industry before moving to Noblesville and opening a business of her own.
“I felt like there wasn’t a place in Noblesville that really offered what we have, and I saw this as an opportunity to open a spa that was like a one stop shop,” she said.
Offering a number of services including therapeutic massage, specialized facials, body contouring, and waxing, Rustic Spa goes beyond the typical primp and pamper experience.
“The Rustic Spa is based on wellness and really focuses more on the health and wellbeing of the client.” Niec said. “We can also include special features to our services based on the needs of individual clients.”
The Rustic Spa also remains unique by providing their own holistic skincare line as well as microdermabrasion treatments and infrared sauna therapy.
As a local business owner, Niec takes pride in providing holistic services to the Noblesville community.
“The most rewarding part of owing a business is being able to be a part of the community,” Niec said. “I’m able to get to know the locals and it’s almost like I’m going to work and getting to know my neighbors.”
Though her business is newly opened as of this past May, Niec is already making plans for the future of Rustic Spa.
“We only have one location as of now, which is in Noblesville, but hopefully we will have other locations in the future.” she said. “For now the goal is to grow and continue to be a known and happy business.”
