Heading to the USATF National Championships for Junior Olympics in the Javelin is 11-year old, Kai Connor of Westfield. Connor finished fourth in the regionals recently in Lisle, Ill. with a throw of 24.96 meters (81.89 feet). He competed in the 11 to 12-year-old class. The regional competition moves the top five athletes to the national championships in Jacksonville, Fla from July 27 to Aug. 2. Connor will compete on July 30.
