A small electrical fire burned the underside and skirting of a Zionsville trailer home Monday morning, June 22.
The trailer home, located at 6034 Cheryl Lane in the Zionsville Mobile Home Park, suffered only minor damage to the bottom exterior of the structure, and virtually no damage to any other areas of the trailer.
All residents of the trailer suffered no injuries and are currently making arrangements to reside with family, according to Deputy Chief of Operations Brian Miller. No firefighters were injured, nor any other trailer in the area.
“The homeowner was aware of the situation, dialed 9-1-1, and we were able to arrive very shortly and mitigate the situation pretty quickly,” Miller said.
The Zionsville Fire Department received assistance in addressing the fire from Boone County, Whitestown, and Perry Township emergency services.
