At the city’s May 26 Common Council meeting, recently retired fire chief Ken Gilliam was honored and recognized. The name of the fire department’s leadership award was renamed as the Kenneth L. Gilliam Leadership Award. Newly named fire chief Greg Wyant was also honored with a pinning ceremony of his new badge.
