Fishers brand store, Vardagan, located near 116th Street and Municipal Drive, created its own coffee named Sure Shot. Jared Ingold, Vardagan owner, plans to begin serving Sure Shot within the next few weeks at the store to create a local coffee shop in Fishers.

Vardagan came to Fishers in 2012 and Ingold says he has been happy with the way the store has turned out. The local brand is focused on providing quality clothing to its customers, so they handle the process from the start of any given project, until the clothing is placed on the shelves.

Ingold knew when he opened the store he might want to put coffee into the mix, but thought Fishers might have another local coffee shop erect. They have customers who will come in once week to check for new clothes and hang out, but now they will have something to come for on a more regular basis.

“I think every community needs a spot that’s different and that’s what I want to turn this into,” Ingold said. He used Kickstarter, a crowdsourcing platform, to get funds for an outdoor patio area and additional equipment, so the community could get more involved with the project. Vardagan is partnering with Brickhouse of Fishers, where they will get the fresh coffee from, to support other local businesses and farmers.

Along with the Sure Shot hot coffee Vardagan created will serve, a cold coffee brew on tap and in bottles will be available. Ingold offered some insight for coffee-lovers: most of the coffee people drink is stale. Sure Shot will only be fresh and he said the consumers will be able to tell.

“We want the community feeling here and that’s what we’re trying to create,” Ingold said. “We hope people notice, because there’s nothing else around like this.” Apparently there’s not, a customer drove to and from Vardagan from Cincinnati in one day to get clothes.
