There have been reports of a man and a woman targeting neighborhoods in the east Fishers and northeast Indianapolis area. These suspects normally work together posing as employees of a pest control company. They canvas the area and return at a later time to commit crime.

The suspects are known to place beads on the mailboxes of homes that have dogs.

Fishers Chief of Police George Kehl strongly encourages residents to immediately report suspicious activity such as strangers walking, driving, or hanging around their neighborhoods. Residents should also be on alert for beads on mailboxes or persons claiming to be with a pest control company.
