OurHealth, an Indianapolis-based business aimed to promote the health and wellness of employers and employees while providing on-site and near site primary healthcare clinics, just hired a new Chief Informational Officer.
Sherry Slick, Fishers, is the founder of Achieve EHR, a healthcare IT consulting firm, and she also has served on the board of the Indiana Chapter of Health Information and Management Safety Society. Slick has served over 25 years in healthcare technology positions.

Slick’s involvement with OurHealth began through her company, Achieve EHR, where she assisted OurHealth with selecting the best technology for electronic health records. After working with the company, Slick fell in love with their mission and wanted to be a part of it.

As CIO, Slick’s day to day work includes managing IT functions for OurHealth such as infrastructure, security and health desk and customer software development.

“We are growing very rapidly, the model of which we function in healthcare, the goal of what we’re trying to do is lower healthcare costs for all clients,” Slick said. “It’s important to try to keep medical costs down and more importantly it’s about improving the wellness of our patients.”

“Sherry’s expertise has already proven invaluable to helping us serve our clients better and improve the health of their employees, and we know that will continue,” Ben Evans, chief executive officer at OurHealth stated in a press release.

Slick said she spends most of her time working for a company she loves, but when she has free time she said she enjoys spending it with her family by keeping up with her daughters’ social calendars and boating.
