When it comes to water and summer weather, The Waterpark is the place to be for your recreation and water activities. The adventure-based features, rentable cabanas and aqua aerobic classes make The Waterpark located at the Monon Community Center an increasingly popular destination for families. Visitors can come to surf the waves, relax in the lazy river, cool off on the Adventure Slides, participate in group aqua fitness classes and sit back and relax in shade and style.

Surfing on the FlowRider® is easy and quick to learn. Visitors have the option to ride the wave body board style or, if you are adventurous enough, stand up style (FlowBoarding®). Lessons, Adult and Teen Open Flows ($5 at the door) are available. Participants must be 52 inches to participate. Join us on July 25, for the national FLOW Tour Competition. Beginners and advanced riders welcome.

Developed for poolside wall-climbing recreation, The Wall (aka AquaClimb® 3D Ice) provides a 5-foot by 3-foot, clear acrylic climbing wall where kids and adults alike can safely test their climbing skills while getting fit. Climbers swim up to The Wall and the climb starts slightly below the pool surface.

Water aerobics feels like play, but benefits your body as well. It not only burns calories and forces you to engage more muscle fibers, it has been proven to increase range of motion while reducing inflammation. Aqua Cardio, Aqua Zumba, Gentle Aqua, Walking Track and Deep Water are all water aerobics classes being offered this summer. Modifications can be made to accommodate all fitness levels.
