On April 18, Westfield was named as one of the Top Workplaces for 2015. This ranking is based on Westfield employee survey feedback alone.

A company called WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a research firm for organizational health and employee engagement, conducts a survey for employees to help better employers and their employees across the nation. The survey led to Westfield being recognized as one of the Top Workplaces for 2015.

“Westfield wouldn’t be what it is today without the dedication of city employees,” Mayor Andy Cook stated. “They are the reason we continue to rank as one of the best places to live, not only in Indiana, but in the country. Being named as one of the Top Workplaces of Central Indiana shows me that administration makes it their priority to engage our city employees.”

Westfield was ranked in the top 50 best places to live by CNN Money Magazine in 2013. The construction of Grand Park, quality of life and low crime rate all contributed to Westfield’s rank. Now, being one of the top workplaces in Central Indiana can contribute to Westfield’s rank as well.

Cook said he thinks excellent public service will come out of Westfield being a top workplace.

“If our people feel good about where they work, they will treat our customers well,” he said.
