Geist resident Angela Tuell was recognized at the Hoosier Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America on April 8. Tuell was awarded the PRSA’s Best of Show Pinnacle Award for her work on a media relations campaign for the launch of Thrive360.

Emceed by Scott Stulen, curator of audience experience and performances at the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the evening highlighted the importance of creativity and art in the public relations profession. Members, non-members and students, regardless of years of experience, submitted a record number of entries ranging from public affairs campaigns to service announcements to digital communications and social media.

The PRSA event was held at the Artsgardern in Indianapolis. For the first time, the Pinnacle Awards also recognized two other outstanding individuals for their excellence in public relations. The event gathered nearly 150 PR professionals, and the Chapter presented 44 awards for exemplary work completed in 2014.
