Since Fishers became a city it has seen a substantial amount of growth in various areas of the community. One of those areas is the presence of tech-related businesses, and because of the city’s tech-friendly atmosphere, another integration technology business has decided to make its home in Fishers.
Matrix Integration, a woman-owned IT firm providing technological solutions for small to medium businesses in the health care, education, government and enterprise sectors will be making it’s new office at 9093 Technology Dr., Suite 102 in Fishers. Matrix decided it was time to move when their current space in Carmel became inadequate.
“We outgrew our space, which is always a great thing in business,” said Brenda Stallings, CEO of Matrix Integration. “We were looking and really didn’t want to relocate in Indianapolis. We wanted easy access also, for people traveling, and we wanted to be around other businesses that appreciated technology. Again, you have Launch Fishers. That is an incubator to grow businesses, and it’s growing. You want to be around a community that thinks about growth.”
The company specializes in key areas such as networking, data centers, virtualization, storage and managing services and uses a consultative approach to ensure satisfaction of their client’s needs.
“It’s really about understanding, going in and consulting with the company and what they are trying to achieve,” Stallings said. “Then we come back with our solution architects and put the solution together. We really don’t walk in with a bag and say, “here’s what I have to sell today.” Our goal is to have long-term clients. We just don’t sell a project then leave.”
Stallings believes that what separates Matrix from other IT companies is its experience in the field, as well as its top-notch employees.
“Our years of being in business and the expertise, the talented highly scoped people that we employ; that’s very important and that’s what I think sets us apart from many,” Stallings said.
