It would appear that the Mayor’s endorsed candidates are attacking my office once again. It is sad since my campaign has been only positive, never attacking or demeaning my opponent.
As stated before, we have received multiple Certificates of Achievement for Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers of America. We contracted with Laser Fiche in 2000 so that Carmel taxpayers would have access to the details of our cities’ activities. Our audits by the State Board of Accounts have been positive.
My current staff and I have 93 years of experience in City Hall which allows us to analyze and ask questions about claims submitted to our office. These questions are asked with respect – not criticism.
The citizens of Carmel have re-elected me for 5 terms because they understand our office is critical to the operations of our great City. It is my hope that the citizens will understand the desperation of persons attacking our office and vote for me on May 5th.
