Noblesville Schools will be hosting the Indiana DOE’s Office of eLearning’s 2015 Hoosier Student Digital Leaders spring conference from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 25 at Noblesville West Middle School. The conference is a free, full-day event that brings together students from around the state to talk about educational technology, collaborations and innovation.

“It’s an honor that we beat out other potential sites in being selected by the state to host this conference, and a recognition of our status as a leader in the area of digital learning,” stated Noblesville Schools spokeswoman Marnie Cooke.

The conference will feature Indiana State Supt. Glenda Ritz and Kevin Honeycutt, a nationally recognized educator. The event is aimed at student technology groups as well as those in the planning stages of forming a school technology team, club or class. The event is free to all Indiana school districts and their grade 6-12 students.
